Written by Team Srijan | Jun 29, 2016 7:00:00 AM

The Drupal Console is a suite of tools run from a command line interface (CLI) to generate boilerplate code and interact with a Drupal 8 installation. The Drupal Console makes use of the Symfony Console and other third party components which allows you to automatically generate most of the code needed for a Drupal 8 module. In addition, Drupal Console helps you interact with your Drupal installation.

Drupal 8 is more technically advanced compared to its predecessor and managing the increasing complexity of Drupal 8 could be a daunting task for anyone. Drupal Console is a suite of tools to help manage that complexity.

To reduce the gap between local communities who do not have exposure to business language with Drupal, Drupal console is now translated in local languages. To cater to the huge community of Drupal developers from India, Hindi is the being translated for console, and it is 90% translated. It is expected to be fully translated soon.

Currently, Hindi is the second most translated language in Drupal Console. Many developers from Srijan put in their hard work to reach this milestone. Srijan is also playing an active role in maintaining the console translated in Hindi, and simultaneously working on Marathi translation.
