The candidate must, at the minimum, fulfill the following roles:
(a) Be able to generate leads specifically in India, USA, Europe; through
i. personal contacts
ii. LinkedIn
iii. project posts on drupal.org, magentocommerce.com and other such open
iv. word of mouth
v. focussed email campaigns
vi. focussed print campaigns
(b) Deliver a convincing and clear message of Srijan (on email, in print campaigns, at business events)
(c) Build a rapport (on email, or in-person meetings) with the client
(d) Qualify leads by engaging potential customers
(e) Demonstrate understanding of internet and web2.0 services and products
(f) Know/learn the open source Content Management Systems (CMS) space
(g) Consult with techies internally to get a sound grasp of projects while writing proposals
(h) Write Proposals; respond to RFPs
(i) Review proposals by others in the sales team
(j) Demonstrate good written and spoken English communication skills
(k) Be able to prepare and deliver presentations to potential customers
(l) Demonstrate good listening skills
(a) Have links with start-ups and sales people in USA and Europe
(b) Write and Blog on Srijan’s official blog
(c) Runs a personal blog
(d) Assist in growing Srijan’s business from current $0.5m to $1m
